Re: Deck Board Spacing Just saying "kiln dried" doesn't really help you. You need to know if the lumber was dried BEFORE or AFTER the chemical bath was applied. If the lumber was dried BEFORE, then the lumber will expand when the treating is applied, and will eventually shrink over time.
